Welcome
Ever since I can remember I have been obsessed with photos. Some may say a little TOO obsessed. I love looking at the pictures and remembering a moment… or learning something new about the past. To this day, I love looking through my photo albums… and I smile as I remember the amazing memories of my life. Somehow the obsession with photographs turned into an obsession with photography… the ART of capturing the photograph that others will want to look at to remember a moment or learn about their past. I bought my first DSLR camera shortly before the birth of my first child in 2008. I had so much fun taking pictures of this beautiful new person in my life and became pretty obsessed with my new toy and hobby. I posted picture after picture on my Facebook page and blog and soon people were asking ME to take their photos. There was something so incredibly exhilarating about getting to be the one who captured the memories that these people would cherish forever and I instantly fell in love with being a photographer. With support from my family and friends, I started my photography business officially in 2010 after I upgraded my camera and lenses to the "big league or real deal." And let me tell you… I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do. Nothing compares to being a small part of the beautiful relationships shared by so many incredible people (my clients!) in this world!

I know I am a little behind in my posts. I have so many things going on right now. I have had so many sessions that I am trying to get pictures edited, which is also putting me even farther behind in my own personal editing. I have not even finished my pictures from Rhode Island (in April). I am getting everything ready for my daughter's 2nd Birthday in July, which if you know me well this is a year long process. On top of getting ready for my sweet little girl's party, I just had a suprise 30th birthday for one of my girlfriends. It was so much fun and she was very suprised. Unfortunately, I did not take any pics after working so hard on the decorations. I know it's kind of hard to believe, I was just so busy being a hostess. That is why I always recommend having a photographer or even a family member/friend on picture duty for any special occasion that you want to remember. Which brings me to my current post. I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family on Mother's Day. I just love how they color cordinated their outfits with such bright and fun colors. Here are a few pics from that session.

Here are some recent pics from a photoshoot I did a few weeks ago, as usual I am behind in my posting and editing. I had so much fun shooting Abby after her pre-school graduation, she was a little diva and loved to model. She is gorgeous with the prettiest blue eyes! Thank you Abby for letting me capture you:-)

This was my first one year session with a cute little brown-eyed boy named Jackson, such a big milestone (the BIG ONE). It brings me back to last July when my sweet little Ellie Claire was turning one. That first year seems to fly by....I truly believe that time seems to accelerate when you have children. He was a little trooper for this shoot as the humidity in Memphis is rising. Here are a few pics from his session!

This was a session I did a few weeks I ago, I know I am behind in my posting. I was out of town visiting Newport, Rhode Island and will post pics as soon as I get caught up (if I ever do). Anyways, this is the Greenwood Family who I have the pleasure of shooting and I had so much fun. They are a very fun and cute family, and Cole their little boy was such a trooper. I really got so many great shots that it was hard to decide which were my favorite. I have many sessions to edit and will post as I complete, so keep following!
